Who is Miss Bailey? What is the significance of a Poppy Patch? These questions surface quite often as the news spreads of the opening of my shop, Miss Bailey’s Poppy Patch. First and foremost, Miss Bailey is my black Scottish Terrier. She is a wonderful companion and enjoys people and commotion (much like her owner). I can’t imagine leaving her all day while I’m tending the shop, so she will be joining me. As far as the poppies are concerned, I’ll never forget the first time I saw the poppy fields on the Wizard of Oz. To this day, poppies fill me with a sense of exhilaration and excitement, which is exactly the atmosphere I hope to create when you walk in to my shop. Thus, the name of the shop was created.

I've had a wonderful time creating and preparing the interior of my store. You can expect to see new merchandise weekly. I travel four times a year to various markets. I get such an enjoyment sharing the treasures that I've found at market with my customers.
